About this course

Yoga4Wellbeing can be delivered as a 6 or 10-week course designed to help employees manage stress, improve mental clarity, and build practical self-care skills they can use at work and beyond. No previous yoga experience is needed — the sessions are fully inclusive, with gentle movements that can be done on a mat or in a chair.

Yoga4Wellbeing blends ancient practices with modern medical science to support mental wellbeing in today’s high-pressure work environments. The programme is secular, inclusive, and adaptable to all physical abilities — making it an ideal addition to any workplace wellbeing strategy.

Led by certified Yoga4MentalHealth instructors, each two-hour session includes:

  • Breathing techniques to reduce tension and calm the mind
  • Simple yoga postures for stretching and strengthening
  • Mindfulness and meditation practices to improve focus and resilience
  • Guided relaxation for rest and recovery
  • Group reflection to share insights and build connection

I am finding the sessions a really helpful way for me to end my working week and to leave work issues behind me. Having the space to focus on me has made me feel more relaxed and more engaged with family life on that day and have found myself doing some of the breathwork and movements at other times too – I’m really enjoying the sessions
