Step One Charity is delighted to announce the appointment of Becky Tucker as our new Community Support Service Manager. As we bid a fond farewell filled with gratitude to Sarah Ellis, who has contributed over 10 incredible years to our organisation, we warmly welcome Becky as she steps into this important position.
Becky has been an integral part of Step One Charity for over 12 years, starting as a Support Worker when we were known as St Loye’s. Through her dedication and hard work, she has advanced to the role of Deputy Manager, before taking on her current position. Her experience and commitment make her the perfect fit for leading our Community Support Service.
In her new role, Becky will oversee a range of services designed to empower individuals in our local community who are struggling with mental health and/or hidden disabilities, enabling them to live more independently and thrive in their daily lives. These services include individual support and options for supported living.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Becky shared:
“I am thrilled to be appointed as the new Community Support Service Manager. I have been with Step One Charity for many years, and I am passionate about the transformative work that we do. I am looking forward to working with my team to continue to provide high-quality support to the people who rely on our services.”
We congratulate Becky on her well-deserved appointment and look forward to the positive impact she will undoubtedly bring to our organisation and the lives of those we serve across Devon.
