An insight into our Self-Awareness course

BeWell@StepOne course spotlight:
Self-Awareness

We understand that people can be nervous about joining online groups and discussing mental health issues. So, we’ve put together a course spotlight to make things a little easier when you’re deciding which of our courses will be best for you.

What is self-awareness?

Self-awareness means being aware of one’s own character and feelings. Making sense of who you are in the world involves a good level of self-awareness; knowing your values and how your strengths and weaknesses can support you or limit you in your life.

Who is the course for?

This course is aimed at those who want to gain a deeper understanding of their feelings and dissect their emotions. They are also looking at ways to rediscover the things they enjoy and how they can re-include these back into their life.

In this 4-week course, you will:

  • Exploring the Concept of self-Awareness
  • The Importance of self-care
  • Positive Consequences of Self-Awareness
  • Negative Consequences from a Lack of Self Awareness
  • Techniques on how to Improve Your Self-Awareness
  • Emotional Awareness
  • Journaling

What is the key takeaway from this course?

Self-awareness doesn’t stop you from making mistakes, it allows you to learn from them.

What our participants say

‘’Really glad I did this. Excellent facilitation, it has really helped me. Thank you’’

‘’It was good, useful training and had some good theory. Delivered well and at a good pace’’

‘’I am looking forward to attending more!’’
