Step One Charity unveils fresh new look to reflect commitment to wellbeing across Devon

Step One, an independent charity supporting people with mental health challenges, learning disabilities and neurodiversity across Devon, has revealed a refreshed new look to better reflect their mission and values.

Launched on Tuesday 27th February, the rebrand gives the charity a visual overhaul, including a new logo, colours and redesigned website. Features include a warm and inviting colour palette, hand-drawn elements and the tagline “A brighter path to wellbeing,” representing their commitment to providing personalised and compassionate support and creating a more inclusive environment.

Ben Greaves, chief executive of Step One Charity, said:

“We’re thrilled to unveil our brand refresh, which reflects our unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of people struggling with mental health and wellbeing across Devon. Our aim is to ensure that every person that comes to us for support feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to take control of their mental health journey, and this transformation helps us to convey that.

At the end of June 2023 1.75 million people were in contact with NHS mental health services across the UK – this equates to approximately 30,000 people in Devon. We want to help many more people by growing awareness of Step One and we believe our fresh new looks will help us achieve this.”

Step One Charity’s recent move to the X Centre on Exeter Quay signifies their commitment to creating a welcoming and accessible space for people seeking support. The new head office will be a focal point for their services, offering a range of resources and activities to promote mental wellbeing in the heart of Exeter.

The refreshed brand identity will be incorporated across all Step One’s communications and marketing materials, including its website, social media channels, and print publications.
