Run The Great West Run for Step One Charity!

We’re looking for running volunteers to join us for Exeter’s Great West Run! This half marathon route has it all – starting in the city center, going through beautiful country lanes, offering stunning views, and ending with a fantastic stadium finish. The event will take place on the 22nd of May 2022 at 9am.

What you get:

  • Running vest
  • A sponsorship form
  • Fully closed roads
  • On route entertainment
  • Water and energy stations
  • All the fundraising support you could need

What we need from you:

  • A commitment to raise £250.
  • A £50 deposit which can go towards your sponsorship minimum to run for Step One, or it will be refunded to you after the event if you raise above the minimum.

10km route information
If the half-marathon isn’t for you then the brand new 10km route also takes you through the heart of Exeter. Following the first and final 3 miles of the half marathon, the route will be well supported and the atmosphere will be incredible. Whether it is your first or one of many – this is the run for you.
