Skydive for Step One Charity in 2024!

2024 Step One Skydive dates:
2nd March & 7th September

Have you been wanting to tick skydiving off your bucket list? Why not take the leap for free and support your local mental health charity at the same time?

We’ve partnered up with Skydive Buzz based in Dunkeswell Airfield in East Devon, to give you the opportunity to take part in an exhilarating skydive for free when raising money for Step One. All you need to do is raise £395!

You can choose to take your leap of faith from 7,000 feet with 15 seconds of free falling, 10,000ft with 30 seconds of free falling or take the 15,000 feet jump with 60 seconds of free falling – the highest tandem leap anywhere in the world!

How do I sign up?

1. Visit our Step One Skydive Buzz page and choose the date for your jump.
Our next official skydive event is booked for 2nd March 2024 and 7th September 2024, but you can choose an alternative date if you can’t make that particular day. Once you’ve chosen your date, follow the ‘Book Now’ instructions – remember to select the ‘Jumping for charity’ and ‘Jump for free’ option and secure your jump with a £50 deposit.

2. Set up your fundraising page to share the news of your challenge.
We recommend setting up a fundraising page on JustGiving and Facebook. This step is vital so that people can easily support you by donating to your charity skydive and so that you raise the minimum amount required to jump
for free. We can help you if you need any help setting up your page.

3. Spread the word!
Tell everyone about your challenge and start collecting donations! Once you have the minimum amount, your big day is paid for. £195 of the money you raise will be given to Step One and anything over the minimum will also be sent directly to us.
