Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

Take Action

Mental Health Awareness Week is a time to come together, start conversations, and make a meaningful difference. This year’s theme, Take Action, is all about the small and big steps we can take to support our own mental health and the wellbeing of those around us.

At Step One Charity, we believe that action doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as checking in with a friend, taking time to rest, or reaching out for support. Every action matters.

What is Mental Health Awareness Week?

Throughout the week, Step One Charity will be out in the community and online, sharing support, advice, and opportunities to connect.

Come and See Us

We’ll be attending a range of events during the week, offering information, resources, and a friendly face. Whether you’re looking for support or just want to learn more, we’d love to meet you.

BeWell@StepOne sessions

Our BeWell @ Step One sessions are designed to support your mental wellbeing in practical, accessible ways. During Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re offering a range of sessions to help you take action for your mental health.

Taking action for your mental health doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Start small. Start where you are.

Whether it’s joining a session, attending an event, reading our blog, or simply pausing to check in with yourself, every step counts.
